Reloading of Heavy Cargo in the Port of Rijeka
Heavy Cargo in The Port of Rijeka j.s.c. In
the category of oversize cargo Luka Rijeka d.d. intends to load eleven TŽV
Gredelj locomotives in two shipments to Mozambique. The first contingent of
six locomotives is on the way to the Port
of Rijeka, while the other five
locomotives will be shipped to Mozambique
in September this year.
The
unloading of the locomotives weighing 70 tons each and their preparation for
shipment are made at theBečka obala quay
in the Rijeka Basin.
The first of the two transformers of the Končar Company
in Croatia has been
delivered to the Port
of Rijeka these days. The
Mjerni transformatori d.d. Company operates within the KONČAR -
Elektroindustrija d.d. Group. The weight of each transformer is 236.5 tons and
after the shipment of the second transformer in the second half of June, they
will leave the Port of Rijeka heading towards New Zealand.
